How to Join
Follow these five steps to join the Service Provider Program
1. Create a Momentum account
Login or create your Momentum account, selecting the role the best applies to your business.
2. Complete or update your company profile
Provide key company information that will be shared with owners and managers on the Service Provider Directory.
3. Select Your Service Categories
Select the category options that align most closely with your business.
4. Upload the Required Documents
These include a Signed Service Provider Agreement, W-9 (2024 version signed in 2026), and Certificate of Insurance (COI) addressed to NYC Accelerator, 1 New York Plaza, Suite 3210, New York, NY 10004
5. Submit Your Application
Certify that what you have shared is accurate and submit for review.

The NYC Accelerator Service Provider Program connects qualified service providers with building owners and managers to help plan and deliver retrofit projects. Through the program, providers gain access to project opportunities, tools like Momentum for scoping and bidding, and training and resources to support Local Law 97 compliance and decarbonization work. It is designed to help service providers grow their business while making it easier for buildings to move projects forward.
To start, service providers need to make a Momentum account and complete their company profile, which includes listing services offered, and submitting relevant qualifications for review. Momentum is a platform that connects service providers with building owners and project opportunities and is a core component of NYC Accelerator’s Service Provider Program. Service providers must create a Momentum account, complete their profile, submit required documentation, and complete annual onboarding training. To remain active, service providers must keep project information up to date in Momentum, submit at least six RFP responses per year, stay responsive to program communications, and complete annual training.
NYC Accelerator provides technical guidance, training, project support, policy updates, and direct assistance through office hours, briefings, and ongoing communication. Service providers can grow their business through referrals, gain visibility through the NYC Accelerator directory and events (such as the free Service Provider Expo), access project opportunities through Momentum, and receive training and resources to support compliance and project delivery. Workforce development and staffing capacity support are also benefits the Service Provider Program.
Momentum provides access to project scopes, compliance information, and incentives, making it easier to prepare bids, manage projects, and track progress from planning through implementation.
