Free Support with Energy Benchmarks and Building Grades

The NYC Sustainability Help Center helps you assess and report on your building’s energy performance and provides free assistance with benchmarking, energy audits, and building letter grades.

Since 2016, the NYC Sustainability Help Center has helped property owners comply with Local Law 84 and Local Law 133, which require all buildings larger than 25,000 square feet to submit energy and water benchmarking reports to the City on an annual basis. The program provides technical assistance with energy audits and retro-commissioning and answers questions related to building energy grades.
