Runwise designs and manufactures proprietary energy management systems that are utilized by 6,000+ buildings throughout the Northeast. These systems replace expensive and wasteful static building control hardware with a low cost, easy-to-install software-driven management and control platform. Runwise manages and monitors heating systems by reducing overall system runtime, regulating hot water heating loop temperatures, and/or modulating steam valves to provide only the necessary heat needed given current outdoor temperature, future outdoor temperature, and the indoor temperature of spaces throughout the buildings. Runwise’s energy management system helps building owners meet prescriptive measures listed in LL97 including “Installing indoor and outdoor heating system sensors and boiler controls to allow for proper set-points.” Runwise operates buildings of all sizes, uses and heating types.
